We bought a Tommee Tippee steriliser with 4 nuborn wide-necked bottles with variflow teats - they're supposed to reduce wind, but we found that William couldn't get anything to come out of the teats.

I've seen a lot of discussion about using Pigeon teats on Avent bottles, but does anyone know if they also fit the Tommee Tippee widenecked bottles as well? Or does anyone know of any other good widenecked teats that might fit our bottles.

We don't want to have to buy all new bottles and teats if we can get away with just buying the teats.

Hi, We had the same problem with Tommee bottles. I ended up going out and buying a whole new set of Avent bottles with Pigeon teats and that did the trick within two days and nearly completely fixed our problems. Jayden is now 6 months old and is on avent bottles with avent 6 month teats but that was the only way we could fix it. Pediatrian also put us onto Donnalix drops (bought over counter at any chemsit). They are miracle workers and actually helped fix Jaydens prob. He now may only need them once every couple of weeks.

Good luck

I'm breastfeeding Hannah, but she was a little whingy when we first brought her home and we thought it could be wind that was making her upset. So we checked with chemist about what to give her and he said, really only boiled water (yuk). So i bought the tommy tippee newborn and she wouldnt have a bar of it. She just kept spitting it out and kinda sucking, then spitting it out. I bet it wasnt coming out, poor baby sucking at nothing!!!

thanks
