How do you know if you are having a miscarriage?

I am almost 7 weeks pregnant and about 3 weeks ago i started having a light bleed. The blood wasn't red but pink and sometimes it was brown. At first i though it could have been an implatation bleed as it stopped after a week but on Friday it started again. It's not bleeding enough to wear a pad but i still have to wear a liner. I have no pain with this.

Does anyone know what this could be? I didn't have any bleeding with my 1st.

When I lost my little one I had all different shades of blood but I had pain. A lot of people have bleeds during their pregnancies and you may be one of them.
Wish I could be more help but you should consider going to emergency and they could offer some more advise, if not call your dr first thing in the morning and they will give you an ultrasound which will put you at ease.
It's a horrible situation to be in when your scared and unsure so make sure you see a dr k. My thoughts are with you.

Best bet will be to go to your Dr in the morning for an u/s. At 7 weeks, they should be able to see enough to clear things up. Having pain as well is certainly more of a concern. Some women just bleed in pregnancies (and every pregnancy is different). Have just had sex? That can certainly bring on a bit of a bleed - due to the cervix being more sensitive and extra blood vessels in pregnancy.....

Any bleeding in pregnancy should be checked by your doc or obstetrician. I had a bleed at 28 weeks with DD and she was fine. I had a bleed with pregnancy no. 2 at 10 weeks and ended up having a miscarriage. So every situation is different. But, as someone else mentioned, at 7 weeks you can have an ultrasound to see how everything is progressing. Please call your doctor.

When having a miscarrige do you always have pain? I thought it was ok as i had no pain and i know some people have that in pregnancy. I just went to the toilet about 2 hours ago and i had some red blood in my undies. I have been another twice and when i wipe there is pinky blood. In the last hour i have had a little cramp. Not a major pain but its there, it feels like a period has started.

Every situation is different so get it checked rather than worry! I had similiar symptoms and I m/c where as a friend of mine had the same thing and she now has a 2 y/old from that pregnancy!

i had a m/c lst year it started with brown/pink the bright red i had no pain what so ever then at 7weeks bang 2 days really heavy.

this pg i had a bleed at week 6 pink then brown the bleed of brown lasted 3 weeks. i had really really bad pains i am now 21 weeks and everything is fine they couldnt fine a reason at 6week or 10week u/s.

Hi girls,
I saw a dr this morning and she has told me to take it easy. As i have a scan on Friday anyway she told me to wait until then and not to do any lifting which is going to be hard with a 16 month old. The bleeding has gone back to pink now and has slowed down.
