Just need some opinions on the colourful 'Mammut' kids chair and table range from Ikea stores. Has anyone used them? and are they of good quality? are they stable and would you recommend them? Its for DD1 who is 15 months old. PS would you get the square table or round table? Im looking at mixing and matching chairs in different colours.

Hi. I have one for my 2 and 3 year old and they love it. It gets used every day and is easy to wipe off texta, crayons etc. I have the small rectangle shape as it is a bit smaller and fits better in our house.
I think its great for the price!

We have the rectangle table plus two chairs and a stool. They are fantastic ours are used many times during the day. We have mixed and match colours they look great. l went for the rectangle taby as l thought it would be easy to push up into a corner or up against a wall if l need the space. They are very sturdy and we have never had a problem with them. My neighbour has a much cheaper set of table and chairs and they are always falling apart.

They are quite sturdy - I sit on them all the time and I'm no petite woman :D

Definitely a thumbs up . We have the round one, for DS who is two, two blue chairs and two green chairs. He uses it every day. It is great for drawing and playdough. Plus it is so cheap that I don't worry about him trashing it.

We have the round blue table with a green and a blue chair. It is great, gets used lots of times every day and is easy to clean. I sit on the chairs too, and i am not exactly petite either! We also have two stools but they are packed away in a cupboard for now because at 20mths DS seems to little to sit safely on them while concentrating on a puzzle etc... I am also a teacher and in my classroom we have the stools and they are fantastic for 4-5yr olds....

DS got the Mammut stools 2 christmases ago, or his 2nd birthday, cant quite remember, but they are a bit tall well were a bit too tall for him to sit on himself....at first..

But we have this table...http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/70104264
As it is a smallish square table, in blue, and green stools.... Fits in well, and easy to clean...

But yeah I sit on the stool too, we found DS spilt something in one, and they were difficult to pull apart, but can be pulled apart and put back together no dramas, just a bit of time...

They are awesome !

Definately sturdy & very easy to clean !

My only suggestion is if you have wooden floors or floating laminate floors that you use the furry pads on the bottoms of the chairs otherwise if grit gets underneath you will get scratches on your floor !!!!

We have the red table and green and blue chairs. I mixed the green and blue and made them half and half:D due to only having the two colours and four chairs. They are great!
