Mazda 6 - 3 Car Seats?

Hi Guys

Does anyone own or know of someone who own's a Mazda 6 and can fit in three car seats? Hubby and I are looking to buy a new car in the next couple of months and with number 2 on the way and number three not so far behind (hopefully) I'll need to fit in three seats. Hubby also wants to look at that new Lexus IS250 but I think it's definitely too small and would also mean a large loan :-(

Hey pebliz, I have a mazda 6 hatchback..its got stacks of room in the back (though not as big as a family commodore or something like that)

I only have one baby seat in the back so far...so i'm really not sure how it would go with three! to be honest it may be pushing it a bit..maybe you should just go to a mazda showroom (lol with one of your carseats in tow) and check it out...i'm sure they wouldnt mind...and its better you know for sure (don't just ask the salesmen..they tell you what u wanna hear :rolleyes: :) )

I used to have a Mazda 323 (Mazda 3) and wasable to just barely fit a baby seat and booster seat in it. Now I have a Magna which also just barely fits these two seats (hence I guess is roughly the same size. I now have a baby reclining seat (the convertible ones) for Declan, a 2 safe and sound toddler seat (though I think the maxi-rider will probably end up bumping these off the market) and though it is a tight squeeze you don't have to do up the buckles for seat belts so there is no need to move them around.

I agree with Diamond in saying bring the seat with you when you look at the car. Once you find what you like then say to the sales person what you need to do and try the seats ... but you will really need to try the three seats in .... unfortunately, as I found when trying to work it all out, it is all very decieving.

If you don't know what the toddler seats are I can take a photo if need be.

We have a mazda 6 and we can only fit a baby seat and a booster seat in the back. Not sure if there may be more room when the baby seat faces frontwards but i dont think enough for 3 seats. Nice car though
