Computer Game Nut

I've been asked to start a computer game thread

I am very partial to Battlefield II myself, nothing better than going online to blow stuff up to let off some steam!

I did World of Warcraft for a month or so but it takes up waaaaaaaayyyyyy too much time and is pretty repetitive after the first week or so. Absolutely brilliant concept though ( I wish I owned it).

Any new BF II like games that I should know about?:)

I'm an MMO junkie. Vanguard SOH is my poison.

Funny thing I find FPS rather repetitive but a single MMO would keep me interested for a few years. They do take up much more time but I love the guild aspect and teamwork involved.

When I was back in Highschool, I was crazy about Red Alert (and the spin-offs). Never really got into Counterstrike or WoW like my other friends though.

At the moment I play a game on Facebook called Knighthood (which is great fun) as well as a browser based game called Travian (www.travian.com). That's about all I have time for these days.

For my birthday Hilary got me 3 more BFII licenses and I spent a very nerdy (but fun) afternoon kicking butt with 3 mates in our new office.

Not quite a PC game.. But Brett and I love playing 2 player on games like Dungeons & Dragons, D&D Heroes, Baldur's Gate & Baldur's Gate II: Shadow of Amn on our XboX :)

Used to be what we would look forward to every single night.
