my DS is due for his 12 month shots this week well now really. but he hasnt been handling dairy or soy well.should i hold off vacination till we get to the bottom of that or go ahead with it? any answers will be much appericated as we have no idea on if it coudl affect the vaccinations or how he will react afterwards

I'd be delaying for a little while until his allergies have been properly investigated.
Also, make sure you ask your doctor/Baby Nurse for the ingredients list from the vaccine. You didn't mention eggs in regards to his allergies, but some vaccines have egg products in them.

I would definately be having a good talk with your g.p about the allergies & what to do in regards to the vax find out what your options then make a decision on which way to go.
I hope all comes good with his allergies good luck :)

so far he hasnt reacted to egg or wheat(gluten) but the dr advised me to get the test when DS goes to his peadtrician anyway. at the moment all we know is he is lactose intolerant and cant handle digesting soy or dairy. so much for him enjoying his easter eggs after gettingbetter from gastro :( lol
im going into the immunisation centre tomrow i'l ask them what they think :thumbsup: thanks guys
