Cabrini or Waverley

My obsti is asking me to decide between these two Melbourne hospitals, does anyone have any advice??:)

I havent been to either so im not much help..

But my Ob also works at both and i have chosen Waverly,alot of that is due to being closer to home.

Waverley also do the Novotel stay:yelclap:!!!
Im looking forward to that!:thumbsup:

Thier both equally excellent.
I stayed at Cabrini for my births and i loved it i personally could not fault it, the staff the food and the accomodation (like a hotel) was magnificent.
A few of my friends stayed at waverley and they say it has the most amazing staff, it has an extremly good reputation everyone that has been there will not go anywhere else which that speaks for itself.
Mamaduke - has been there hopefully she can come on and make a comment.

I have to say the Novotel stay sounds awesome.:thumbsup:

It's a relief to know both hospitals have had positive feedback. I think i will book in a tour of each of them, so i can get a feel for the one that suits me.

Loved loved loved Waverley Private.
Fantastic staff across the board...from the staff that brings you your meals to the SCN midwives.
All lovely and so caring.
The only negative thing is that their food isn't very good but if you go there and get the chance to go to the Novotel for the end of your stay then take it...fantastic food, the midwives are not as busy so they have heaps of time to go through breastfeeding and/or any other questions you may have before going home and it's just a beautiful place to stay with bubs before you go back to real life.
