just wondering if anyone here has been before & whats it like, it looks interesting, we're thinking of coming down for the weekend so we can check it out.

Man I so want to go but we are moving a few days before it starts. I have been the last 2 years and I thought it was pretty good. Last year wasn't as good as the first though, but heaps of info and freebies. I want to go and get some nappies :( But I cant. Oh well I could always give starlet some cash to pick me up some specials ;)
when is it?? i probably can't afford to go but i would like to. maybe next year.

The expo starts Friday the 15th and finishes Sunday the 17th...
You can get free tickets on the web page, print them off your self or request some sent to you for your playgroup.
I have been to the expo twice, once in Sydney and then once over here. It is good if you are looking for goods and services. I found babes on the run at the last one and lost 17kg so yeh I think the expo is great!!!... Also there are generally great savings. I saved a tonne of money on a breast pump like $50 i think...
Got free samples, and lots of other stuff as well. Although I did only spend an hour or so there. So not worth paying for...print the tickets or go to your health nurse they generally have some tickets in the wighting room...

I will be going on the 15th will be my first time so really looking forward to it :)
Going to take DS on his first bus ride and second train ride to get there :yes: should be good
I've been every year for the last 6 years lol. There are some great show bargains and alot of info and freebies!

Yep I will be there. Not sure what day yet though. Im not sure if I want to take kids or go by myself and just walk around and look at everything.

yeah i saw the free tickets ages ago, thats good, but limits one per faimly, better then paying for 2 right? i cant wait to go, my df said we can go down, as a birthday treat as my bday is a few days after the expo. he even wants to go all out and stay at burswood for a night :valentine:

Umm you walk through the door, 30 seconds later your partner walks through..
Then you happen to bump into each other inside and enjoy the expo together.. ;)
Not that i have that issue since i go by myself.. lol
Dont think i could convince DP that he would find the expo to be fun..

We are going, not sure what day yet, depends if i meet up with anyone although mum is saying she wants to come as well.:D And I already have my free tickets but didnt have to print them off, i got given them at a chemist the other day

:yes: thats all we are gonna do, ill walk in alone and then DH can come in behind me with DD.
You should tell Troy that Ben is going and stop being a wuss :laughing:
I'll be dragging hubby along(not that I have to convince him, because he wants to spend every minute with me when he is home!). I need someone to carry all my purchases anyway! lol

I am going to try to dump the kids at mums & go for a wander by myself on Friday. I wasn't going to go but the lure of cheap nappies has pulled me in. :p

We are going tomorrow. I am meeting my SIL around 10. I will have my BH ribbon on my nappy bag :)
So who else ended up going? Got home not too long ago... got quite a bit of stuff, the pram was full by the time we left. :)

well i had a good day, endend up goin on Sunday, got there a wee bit early lol 9.15am or something, glad we did tho, i was thinking it was going to be packed, was a nice amount of ppl for me,to start off wilth, then everyone started piling in at about 12ish, only stayed until 1pm , had been shopping all arvo fri and fri night, then all sat, was buggerd by sunday lol,plus we had to get home to Geraldton, got quiet a few bargains so we were happy. id love to go again next year.
I was there Sunday too from about 10.30 until 1... by that stage I was too tired to be bothered with the crowds.
