Just wondering if this could still be an option, I'll be almost 5 months pregnant when I get to Brissy...

I know my chances are miniscule but is it worth a shot or do they stop taking people after they're past a certain number of weeks?

Thanks

I don't think there is an official cut off date....if there are places available that late then they will want them filled...however your chances of getting a place are about zilch because most mums get their applications in as soon as they fall pregnant....then they already have a waiting list of people to fill any places that crop up.

Yeah, chances are not good!

I'll give it a shot anyway, I want as many options as I can have to choose from. :fingerscrossed:

With the FBC I am going to there is about a 26 week cut-off date for the bloods and U/S to be done.

If you call them too late after the 26 weeks then they do not accept you.
They will give you a bit of slack so long as you have had SOME care during the pregnancy.

Some like how much? I haven't had a lot, a blood test and I had a scan at 14 weeks...I don't want much more really, didn't want any of those things in the first place.

If all goes to plan I'll be...19 weeks when I get there.
