I think it would be interesting to see how a man would mod. I wonder if they would they freak every time they have new private message and start to think about all the posts they have done recently and tell themselves that they shouldnt have said something only to realise that it was nothing of the sort.:D:D:D

I've been thinking about this lately... we definately need a guy mod specifically for the Dad's Chat forum. They way all the women wouldn't have an excuse to come and read our posts!

I could also suggest a few ppl who would make good mods in the Geek Speak forum...

Well, my dp (metaltechhead) is a moderator/admin of another forum.. but I doubt he would be here :laughing:
although he gives some good advice in the geek speak section, maybe he could be a mod there :laughing:

I think there just hasnt been any males on here long enough, most mods have been on the forums since about 2005.

Yeah, eventually I wouldn't mind stepping up to help a little more actively in terms of forum management (at least for relevant forums), but having said that - it usually isn't something that I am actively pursuing.

Happy to just post voluminous guides and help in Geek Speak for now haha..

I'll worry about moderation if it ever gets suggested

Isn't that interesting Metaltech, I only just noticed your signature and saw you have CISCO training.
My Mummy worked for CISCO for years.
Network engineering is a great field.

Well having read this thread I think I'm going to start looking in on the boys to make sure the girls are not bullying us!

I'm online and supervising the Dad's Chat section from now on as while our other mods are AWESOME none of them are Dad's.:raspberry:

I'm keen to encourage more guys to come in and participate. Also very keen to point out that I will avoid most other sections of the Forum as the girls scare me a little!

"Yes speaking" and then that little breath of silence on the other end of the line :rolleyes: One time i took some software down to the Tuggeranong office to install it and they had never seen me in that branch before, and the receptionist told the office manager i was delivering it for the IT Manager to do and they wanted to know what time HE would be there!.. and i said "No i am the IT Manager" and she gave a slight giggle and said "Oh... um, okay then you better come back here then" :confused::laughing:
