BFN at 11dpo with extra sensitive early test?

I bought a pack of Forelife Extra sensitive tests (from woolworths) which are suppposed to detect as little as 10mlU/ml. The box also says you can test from 5 -7 days before your expected period due date. I used one of these tests at 10dpo before i went to bed and because i was hurrying (didnt want DP to know cos he will call me an idiot for testing so early!), i peed directly on the stick instead of dipping in the cup as you are meant to. Anyway, didnt saturate it enough because the ink took ages to travel across the screen, but it did leave me with a positive line. Which im now putting down to an evap line (obv cos i did it wrong). That and the fact that today (11dpo) i have used 3 different tests and all have been BFN's!!!Do you think its still too early for defeat and maybe there is still a chance this month? I know i still have 2 or 3 days til period is due but i would have thought that with such a 'sensitive' test it would have detected the HcG, if i am in fact pregnant. What do you all think?

so you got a positive result? it could mean that you are preg

I would wait untill your Af is due before testing again, just to make sure that the pos you got this time is a real pos

I would wait until you are closer to you AF date..i found the best HPT were first response :D

Did you use first morning urine(FMU) for the 3 times you tested at 11DPO?

I agree with Ains - keep holding hope til AF arrives. I *thought* I had AF, but a week later when a few symptoms started to arise, I tested and what do you know - BFP. My cycle was all over the shop and if I'd tested before af was due, I'd have just set myself up for disappointment.

I am a little skeptical on the whole HPT thing.
I got a BFP at 3dpo with a 50MIU test???? digital at that so no mistaking.
I say wait until AF is due then request a blood test from GP - save the stress of reading HPT's and you should know within in hour!

Thanks all for your help...I got AF last night - over a day early!~~Thats ok, would have been nice to get a BFP but we have a long time ahead of us to make a baby! Hopefully our BFP went to someone more deserving!!! Good Luck to all of you on your journeys!
