The Victory Hotel Burnt Down

I'm not sure if theres another thread on this, but I haven't seen one. I just heard that the Victory hotel in the city burnt down early Sunday morning :( The Vic was the first club I went to when I turned 18!

I saw that too!!

the basement caught fire at 3am and the fixed that and then it started again a few hours later!

Id say theyll rebuild it... they make enough money to fix it up...

Many a sunday recovery session in the beer garden listening to some local band...
Gosh I havent been back to the Vic since my DH and I got together 6 years ago.:D

We were staying in the city that night and didn't hear a thing...only a few blocks away. Drove by as close as we could, the streets were chockers with police and fire trucks. Hope they had some good insurance...seems like it wouldn't be worth the effort to repair, rebuilding makes more sense.
