Mini pill and periods

Just wondering if anyone out there is on the mini pill and breastfeeding? Are you getting a period? I'm on Microlut and have been for a month. I got a bit of a period when first starting but haven't had one since. Just wondering if this is normal when you are breastfeeding??

I'm bf'ing and on the mini pill. No period here. I'm quite happy to not see it again for awhile. I'm used to not having it now :yelclap:

Just remember you can still ovulate even if you're not getting your period...

I've been on the mini pill for 3 1/2 months and no period either. Sometimes get worried about getting preg as forget to take it!!

I was on the minpill until I finished breastfeeding (12 1/2 months) and didn't have a period until about 6 weeks after I stopped breastfeeding.

DS is nearly 6 months old and i am on the mini pill and BF, still no signs of a period here! Not sad about that either! hehe!

4+ months on the mini pill (Microval) and breastfeeding still and Ive only had a slight period once over a month ago (i wouldnt even call it a period as only needed panty liners it was that light)

I have just started on the same pill while breast feeding. I also had a small period (2-3 days only) when I first started on it and I have been on it for about 2 weeks.

Good to hear that I am not the only one it happened to.

How hard is it to remember to take it at exactly the same time every day????

Hey, my DD arrived just a few days after yours, BelindaBB :)

I've got the mini-pill here, but one of the reasons I hadn't started taking it yet was that I was wondering if I'd get a period even though I was breast feeding.

I was also worried about other side effects, as I've also heard nasty stories about using the mini pill too.

Has anyone had any other side effects happen?

Yeah im also on Microlut and breastfeeding my 10month old daughter. I started about 5 months ago and have not have a period yet. I thought I might be pregnant so I thought I would look it up. Nice to know im the only one having these problems :).

I've been on microlut since DD was 8 weeks old, and she's now 8 months old and still breastfed and I haven't had a period either! The only way I remember to take it is to set my alarm on my phone to go off at the same time every day.
