Hi! My name is Avril, I have two wonderful children aged 4 and 2 and I am studying journalism.
This next bit may sound boring, but try to think of it as a soap box?

For my next assignment I have chosen to write an article on Stay-at-Home Dad's, or, rather, households in which the father is the primary caregiver.
If any of the Mums, Dad's or other people caring for children in this group have any comments to make they would be very welcome. Please include your first name and contact email if you are willing to be further interviewed or quoted.
Here are a couple of starting points.
1. Do you think that children miss out on any love, care or attention when the father is the primary caregiver?
2. Do you think that Men who are primary caregiver's are given more credit and praised more for their efforts than women in the same role?
3. In your household who is the primary caregiver and how many hours do they spend with your child(ren)?
Please note : I think stay at home dads do a wonderful job, in fact my household has one, so this is not an anti men or anti dad thing.
Thankyou for taking the time to read this. Please, any replies would be welcome! :)
