Hi!

Thought I come out of the closet and introduce myself. I've been a lurker for quite some time now but never felt a need to post anything. (Always afraid I say something wrong in my sleep-deprived state! ;)) Anyway, I'm a sahm with a 4yo girl and a 1yo boy. I never thought I would be a sahm as I had a very good career prior but I am loving it everyday (despite it many challenges). I don't follow any one method of parenting exclusively but is always open to try new ideas.

I'm in Canada, almost became an Aussie a few months back due to dh's job but it fell through.

Hi Blessed and Welcome.
I've been like that on a few forums but took the plunge here and everyone has been great! Very supportive group of people.
I have two DS's aged 5 and 6 and don't subscribe to any particular parenting method either except for respect for elders, doing the right thing and quiet self control in public LOL. I'm also a SAHM. I was about to take the plunge and get back to work when I found out I was expecting again so here's to another few years at home.
I hope you make it down to Aussie some day!

Thank you for the welcome. I was on another site and I found that if a asked a question that is not compatible to it's parenting philosophies then I get shot down. It's nice to just belong to a community of parents that tolerates all parenting methods.
