Hi,

At the moment DH & I are TTC #2. The trouble is we have a 2 year old daughter who is climbing out of the cot and quite often comes in to our room or out to us if we are still up this has all happened since Sunday night. My DH when putting DD down to bed has been lying down on the matress beside the cot for about 30 minutes. Last night DD did not settle down and I suggested I would go and lie on the matress and fell asleep.

I suggested to DH that we BD at 9.30 pm but I fell asleep and he did not wake up in the fear that DD would wake up. Tonight I fell asleep on the lounge. We were going to BD again at about 11.00 pm when I woke up but DD climbed out of the cot. I closed the door so DD would come out but DH was not happy about this and did not want to BD because he could stand DD crying. Then he blamed me because I fell asleep. I just do not know what to do I desparately would like to fall pg but DH either puts it off not tonight or we will do it tomorrow night.

We live on the Central Coast and DH travels 1½ hours to get to work in Sydney by train. He is a Surveyor's Assistant and does a lot of walking so when he comes home is tired. We dinner at about 7.30 pm and then DH wants to wait 30 minutes sometimes longer. By which time I am get tired. DD is so full on.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can talk to DH I think he would like another baby as well but I do not think he realises that it needs to be done every 2nd day from Day 9. I am seeing a Gynae on the 3rd September so 1 more month of TTC before getting help.

I was due to ovulate on 23 July and we BD on Saturday 19/7 & on Tuesday 22/7 I think I ovulate around day 17 and I noticed by temps went up yesterday 24/7.

Sorry this is so long winded but I really need to get some advice as I would really really like No #2. How can I get my DH to understand?

Kim,
:hugs: Its so hard isnt it when you already have a little tacker that is tiring you out......

Have you thought of doing OPK's so you can time your BD perfectly and only BD the day of your surge and day after maybe? That might help a little? Also charting and taking your temperature will help you pinpoint ovulation.

sorry hun, thats the only advice I have. WHat about bd'ing early in the morning, is that a possibility before your DH goes to work and before your DD wakes up?

Goodluck

Sorry have to be quick as we have people coming for dinner ... during the week we DTD as soon as DS has gone to bed and has definitely settled and before we eat dinner!! This way we are not to tired and not to full.

Goodluck .. it is challenging at times x
