Can anyone recommend a nappy that will stop leaks. I have been using Huggies (girls) and they are great but can get a bit expensive. I thought I might try something a little cheaper for during the day. A friend suggested Aldi nappies, but my daughter seems to leak through them. Any suggestions would be appreciated...Thanks

I use Lullaby nappies I think they are great and they have a great price tag as well. You can usually get them from Coles.

i have to agree that snugglers are cr@ppy
I use Woolies Homebrand nappies, the ones in the white pack with the black and red writting, not the 'Selects' ones coz they cost about the same as huggies and I hate spending more than I have to on nappies.
My DD is in the 5-11kg size, I think there is about 20 in the packet for less than $6 :)
I put DD in one when she goes to bed, usually around 6pm, and I don't change her til she wakes in the morning at around 6-7am. Even if she wakes and has a bottle thru the night the nappy still doesn't leak. One night I was up and down all night to DS, nothing wrong with him just one of those nights. Anyway, DD had woken for a bottle thru the night too so by the time the kids woke up at 6:30am I was stuffed and still needed another 4hrs sleep so DH got up and gave DD her bottle. As usual he didn't bother to change her nappy so she was in the same nappy for 6pm til amost 10am the next morning  But still the nappy didn't leak, it was very full, but no leaks. It was also working so well that she didn't have any signs of nappy rash :smiliedance:
I love cloth nappies, but I just can't seem to get my flannelette flats to hold enough overnight, DD sleeps thru most nights so she is often in the smae nappy for 12+hrs. So the homebrand ones are the next best thing for us right now...somewhere else around here there is a thread about the Aldi nappies and the Homebrand ones being almost the same....

You could get some hemp or microfibre boosters and lay them in the flannelette flats... I found that worked well when out hemp fitteds were not dry in time.

What are they? How many times have they been washed? How many layers? (Sorry, third degree, lol)
