Hey,

Am interested in what sort of activities there are available in Darwin for young babies.

I know there is KAT in the park.
I was thinking of looking into Mums N Bubs swimming and Baby Gym.

I am thinking of activities to put into our routine each week, to keep us busy, would like some ideas.

Thanx

there is also kindermusic and mainly music.
both libraries (Palmerston and Darwin) do storytimes (I know Palmerston also so a baby storytime for 0-12 month olds which is aimed at the younger age group - but I don't think you can bring older siblings so if you have older ones you might be better with the regular story times!
good luck I am ver slack with outing mainly as she sleeps when they are all on unfortunately but If you are keen for a meet please PM me and we can organise something - the other NT girls seem to have vanished but I am up for new playdates.:yelclap:

So hearing that with a bub that young give the bub storytime at PAlmerston Lib a go the ladies there are sooooo lovely (I used to work there last time we lived here) I was considering popping myself on a casual list at the library but it is really just too hard with DH away all the time so I am hearing the lonely thing too!!! As I said PM me if you need a break we could go for a coffee or something it is amazing how getting out of the house occasionally makes a big difference.

Hey Katie,

I am in Palmerston too but am moving in a couple of weeks to Darwin City.
I haven't really done anything yet as my little one is only 3 months BUT I have been taking note of whats on.

The YMCA does Mums N Bubs aqua aerobics at the pool on a Thursday.
At the library they have Nursery Tales from 10 - 10:45am on a Wednesday.
There is also Kids activity time (KAT) from 9 - 11am on a Monday. You have to contact Library to find out where it's held (in various parks)

Have you moved here with the Defence? because I have details for activities with them too.

=)

Hi Holly,
Thanks heaps... Don't worry about getting the baby/pregnant thing mixed up lol... I am sure everything else will come in handy in a few months time anyhow!
I'm not with defence, they probably wouldn't want me crashing their services!
Thanks again,
Kate
