This has probably been asked before but when is the best time to start Rasberry Leaf supplements?
I was wondering the same thing a little while ago and some-one posted the following:
Tablets - Take two 300mg or 400mg tablets with each meal (three times a day) from 32 weeks.
Teabags - 1st trimester- one cup per day -2nd trimester - two cups per day -3rd trimester - up to 4 to 5 teabag cups throughout the day.
Loose leaf tea - Bring one cup of water to the boil. Remove from heat and add one teaspoon of the herb. Stir, cover and let sit for ten minutes (do not boil the herb), strain and sip. Adding sugar or honey many improve the taste. 2 to 3 cups per day is often recommended especially after 28 weeks of pregnancy.
I took Raspberry Leaf Tea tablets from 34 weeks on. From memory I just took the dose written on the label.
At my pre natal classes the midwife recommended only taking it in the third trimester and not earlier.

I start taking the tabs about 32/34 wks
Drinking the tea ever 2nd-3rd day atm as each time i have a cupa tea i get some interesting uterus toning ;) when im over 30 wks ill have the tea once a day ;)
I drank about 4 cups or more a day during the last trimester and i was 10 days over and had a painful 23 hour labour :yes:
So my advice would be start early coz it didn't work for me:(!!!
