Is size 0 6-9months. My little girl has suddenly had a growth spurt at no longer fits her 0 and she is 8 months old. her legs have just got so long! Not sure on the sizing over here. (from uk!)

I think 0 can be 6-12 months in some cases. I know my DD fits size 0 at the moment and according to pumpkin patch, that's 6-12 months.

I would go a 1 if you are having problems with length.
1 is generally for a 1 year old, but my DS needed 1's from around 9 months.

It depends on the baby and keep in mind that Bonds brand does tend to be a bit smaller.

generally its

0000 - newborn
000 - 1mth-3mths
00 - 3-6mths
0 - 6-12mths
1 - 12mths-2yrs
2 - 2-3yrs

but all babies are different... my almost 3yo is still in sz1 but my 11wk old is just going into 00s

it varies sooooo much!

my nearly 9mth old is still in 00 but shes little, there is a little boy at ds kinder who is 6 months and his in a 0. I really think it varies, maybe buy the footless suits so you can roll them up instead

Me too except My DD is 19 months!
it depends on the brands she has everything from 00's to 1's (oh and a size 4 roxy t-shirt) and I can't get knickers in a 1 darn it (too bad if she was already toilet trained)

There is a huge variety of sizing nothing is standard!

I think the sizes are:

0000 - newborn
000 - 1mth-3mths
00 - 3-6mths
0 - 6-9mths
1 - 9 - 18 months
2 - 18 - 36 months ?2 years

Basically it varies a lot! Some clothes have size 0 and 6 - 9 months on the tag, others just say 6 - 12 months (like pumpkin patch), others just say size 0. Most tags will have the size of the child that is meant to fit the clothes (eg. 70cm tall). All of that is nonsense. Your child fits into whatever they fit into.

The very good news is that from 9 months they really slow down in growing. My ds went into some size 1's around 9 months, mostly because of leg length. He was completely in size 1 by 12 months and now, at 18 months, he is just starting to need size 2. Remember also that baby clothes can be unisex (eg. singlets) and that boys are bigger and girls are smaller, so hopefully your little girl will be in sizes for longer than if she were a boy ! In theory anyway!
