Any Poms out there?? There's a group of us meet every fortnight either in Thorneside or Wellington Point for a get together at the park, kids range from a few months old to school age. We're from all over the UK, and some are Australian who've spent time in the UK, so not exclusive to Poms!! If you fancy a get together, we're next meeting at Wellington Point at 10:30am on 1 October. It started as a chance for people new to the area to meet new people, find out info, share experiences etc. If you're intersted, then feel free to contact me.

Hi there Geordie Mum

It seems some time since you posted your message - do you still meet up with other new Mum's?

I am due to have my first baby on Monday, and live in Redland Bay. I'm a Pom from Lancashire and have been here 5 years - some of that in Sydney.

I have been very work-focused for the last 2 years, and so hardly know any Mum's and would be very happy to meet some.

I am happy to travel anywhere.
