View Full Version : Is it a good idea to have the vaccinations done separately?
We have decided that we don't want our DS to have the Hepatitus B Vaccination when he has his four month jabs. However, apparently for us to be able to exclude the Hep B we have to have a total of three jabs (the big one gets split into two). So now we have the following concerns:
1. With all the additives in these jabs, are we affecting our child's health by subjecting him to three lots of the additives/preservatives.
2. Would it be better to space out the three jabs and have them done at different times. If so, how long is it suggested to leave between each one?
Thanks.

If you are uncomfy with giving them all at once, then dont. Just space them out.
I got all my kids done at once, and they are all vey healthy and well.
Do you have a good doctor? I do, and he was a great source of information for me.
Information on the internet cannot be trusted.
So just have a chat to someone you trust on the subject, not someone with hidden agendas and whatever, and just make your own mind up.
I can't imagine there would be any problems with spacing them out.
Oh and , long time no see.
Thanks 4B2L!! A big  to you too! And thanks for the advice. I wish we did have a good doctor - will have to ask around I think.

Personally i would. I think if you are going to do it then space it out. How long in between? Im not sure, maybe a month or 2?

My children have had thier vaxxes according to schedule.
I was almost going to delay DD's 12 month vaxxes due to info I read on the net.
Lucky I have an Excellent Gp (who would support me either way in the Vaxxing issue) who gave me all the info I needed.
I had a long consultation with him where he brought up all the info on the Net that I had concerns about and went through all the issues I had.
She wiul be getting har needles on time and all together..
