My sweet little boy has been screaming his lungs out for the last two weeks, last week for 5 of the 7 days. At my wits end I took the advice of my physio and took him to a child chiro today. He asked me a number of q's and thoroughly examined DS, and as soon as I mentioned my surgery and use of antibiotics a week after the birth it was like a lightbulb came on above his head. he immediately advised that the balance in DS's tummy had been upset by the general anasthaetic and antib's and that he and I need to take probiotics for a week.
Obviously I haven't seen the result yet, but he has instilled such confidence in me that I wanted to advise any of you suffering through this to give a baby chiro a go - if your bubs is going through this you can imagine the relief I felt. I am not suggesting that probiotics is the answer for every baby suffering colic but I would strongly recommend visiting a chiro to anyone in this situation - he/she may just diagnose something that you hadn't thought of.
