PE & CS with past bub???

Hi ladies

My last pregancy was fine up until 30wks when I had heavy onset of pre-eclampsia and had bubs @ 31wks 5days.

I had my waters broken and after 12hrs of labour and docs telling mum it was either bubs or me that lived i had a emergency c-section.

Just wondering if there is anyone out there in a similar boat to me that is now going to attempt a VBAC:confused:

I was induced because of boderline pre-eclampsia. I went 22.5 hours and then ended up with a emergency c/s as my BP sky rocketed.

Im probably going to attempt a VBAC this pregnancy too. I dont think that because u had PE in your first pregnancy you will have it in this one. Its more common for women in their first pregnancies.

I think for me it was a mixture of terrible fluid retention and the twins factor.

I guess as soon as you see any symptoms coming on have some bed rest and you might be able to have a VBAC! You might not get any PE this pregnancy.

I had the the first stages of PE so was induced at 38 wks due to baby being ready, after 8 hrs of contractions i stoped progressing at 6cm dilation and babies heart rate was dropping so we were rushed for a Emergency C/S, had a dr app last wk and was told could try for a VBAC but chances are high that i will not dilate again? BAH!! but i have decided that i will let my body make that decission and am also going to try for a VBAC.... :fingerscrossed: for us all!!

Mine came on a few weeks before, just swelling in my hands and feet, and my face after sleeping. I was working 2 jobs and exercising alot. Dr says I have to take it easy this time but PE might come back and and I have see how things go.

Im hoping I only didn't dilate with DD because I was so early.
