Please Help ASAP

Hi, im new here!!

i have a big problem!my period is over 3 weeks late,although mine is never usually regular but a week is ever the most it goes over!
I was told by the doctor last yr it is extremely unlikely i would be able 2 concieve on my own so i start fertility treatment in june!!!! But i think i might be pregnant, we'll my family do.
I had a metallic taste in my mouth about 3 weeks ago with everything i ate although its gone now.My tea tasted of pure sugar this past 2 nights,(i dont take sugar, athough that prob has nothing to do with being pregnant or not lol) I have been feeling sick like queezy for this past 2 weeks mostly at evenings.I wake up in the mornings feeling sick with hunger and when i eat it keeps the queezy feeling at bay for about half an hr!!I am getting slight period cramps but have been for 4 wks!My breasts are quite sore especially my nipples they are the sorest!My fiance has told me i should get a test as my mood swings are getting beyond a joke (although i never noticed). I'm afraid incase its negative and he is getting his hopes built up.


Could i be pregnant or am i imagining it? I want to do a test but im afraid please help!!:crying:

You have quite a few pregnancy symptoms but the only way to know for sure is to do a test.

Thats what im thinking, but i am confused to weather im imagining the cramps or all the other signs.

Sounds promising Niamh, I had the same night sickness and only food would help.

I'd get a test if I were you so you can know for sure, better to do it now than to worry about things - you still have the fertility treatment, so hopefully your fiance wont be too dissapointed if it's -ve.

The sooner you test the better for all involved. If you are pg then your DF will be able to get his hopes up and if not then they won't skyrocket too high before you know for sure. Not to mention that the sooner you know the sooner you can start preparing yourself!!

yes you can, I got these just after testing a BFP and I was 4 weeks and it was just as I due and lasted for quite some time thereafter. Good luck and let us know how you go. :fingerscrossed: for you.

It's a pretty scary time wondering whether to test or not. If you do the test with your partner there though, you will both be able to experience the result, be it positive:fingerscrossed: or negative. If it is IT you can both jump for joy together but if it isn't you can be together to hold each other if need be. :hugs:

I also had period pain when I first fell pregnant....I kept saying to everybody.."I still have period pain" even my doctor said that it was quite normal....

well i really cant tell u waht is going on with u i have always kinda knew i was preg when i was preg ,, but u sond like u might be unless u have been reading about the symptoms and gradually everyday been getting them .. then maybe u night be convincing your body that u are i think u might have to ttake a test to be sure and tell ur man dont get to excited ,, remind him of the possiblity that u might not be and just go with the flow after that... johHi, im new here!!

Its odd isn't it....we think we might be pg, we want to do a test but daren't. then we sit there staring at this little white stick and then a mixture of joy, sadness, elation, etc waves over us.

I remember thinking "Oh sh.t!" when I found out. I was thrilled, but then I started to panic (even tho its no 2). :eek:
