positive tests

I have had 3 positive HPT but when i went for a scan they couldn't see anything. I have to go back next week.

Someone told me that you can have a positive reading when Af is due.

My AF was due 2 weeks ago.

Does anyone know anything on this subject?

I was wondering if you have had a blood test and if the HCG levels showed a pregnancy?

Also were your 3 positive HPTs all different brands? Just trying to rule out false positives thats all.....

Also, did they perform an internal scan? If you are only a very short way along, it may be far too early to see anything yet.

There is a thread specificly about HPT and results, maybe you could post in there. But from what I no, thats perfectly normal. Often Babies wont show up on ultrasounds til as late as 6wks into your pregnancy, thats for an internal ultrasound, its a lot longer on an external ultrasound too. I would ask to be rescanned in a couple weeks and in the mean time maybe get a blood test to confirm your levels, they will also give a better idea of how far along you are too.
