Cervical Mucous Question

Just wondering if anyone else has to go "hunting" (TMI SORRY) for the clear mucous. I get the thich stuff leading up to AF and maybe the last day of bleeding but never really see the clear fertile stuff. I do check and it is slightly there (not much though) and clear but not stretchy. On the info I have read this is the fertile stuff (the clear stretchy stuff). SHOULD IT JUST COME OUT LIKE THE THICK STUFF OR IS IT HIGHER UP? Am starting to feel down that I dont get this type of mucous coming out like the thick stuff. Is this normal? :(:(:(:(

I don't think i get much EWCM either....if i do its not much and like you say, you have to "hunt" around for it. I have used a product called Pre-seed this cycle which is a sperm friendly lubricant that replicates this type of cervical mucus. Check out their website http://www.preseed.com/ for more info. I was told that any clear cervical mucus is great, its just the thicker-stretchier EWCM is the most ideal living condition for sperm. IF you dont produce any or very little (a lot of women are like this) there is a lubricant called 'PRE-SEED' that mimics the egg white cervical mucus and prolongs the life of sperm to help with conceiving. My SIL used it and swears by it. It can be hard to find as it sells in certain chemists only but I think you can get it online, not too sure where (maybe google it). You only use it on your most fertile days and i think its about $30.
