does anyone know if you can you freeze rissotos? or any other rice meals?
I'm not sure about risottos, but I freeze home made fried rice and plain boiled rice all the time...

I think it is recommended that rice not be frozen, but i have always frozen it and never had a problem. I make dishes like satay chicken and rice, beef strog and rice and other things like that, but i've never frozen a rissoto.

I wouldn't freeze a risotto for adults cause Im fussy, but I make a spag bol sauce and add risotto rice for the boys and freeze in batches. I just part cook the rice so I can finish if off freshly when they have it so it doesn't go gluggy when re-heated
