I didn't know you could see stuff at these early scans, I had one at 14 weeks and found out later in the day about someone on here knowing at their early scan...I was gutted! :o

We aren't fully decided whether we'll find out yet, i'd like to but DP is undecided yet. I never found out with my first 3 and it is nice having a surprise to look forward to after all the hard work is over! I guess this time round as i have to start from scratch buying baby things again (as i got rid of all mine years ago never thinking i'd have anymore :laughing:) it would just be a bit easier so i can get stuff in advance. With this anti Kell problem i have i'm not going to buy any more baby stuff for a while, just so i can be sure everything is going to be ok.

I have plenty of neutrals from DS and I bought a few more plain rompers in the Target sale.

Apart from that I'll wait until after bubs is born.

With my 1st pregnancy my sister-in-law told me I was carring a boy by my shape. I never found out but was convinced she was right ( since she had 3 children ). We did the room all blue with sailors everywhere. Then I gave birth and what a wonderful surprise she was a beautiful little girl. So we redid the room pink! To be honet, in a way I was hoping for another boy so was a little shocked to find out it was a girl ... I just thought 2 of the same sex would be much easier and they would be better friends....Had to get my head around it...People think you want the Pigeon pair .. but I wasnt so sure...

Well after finding out we are having a pink bundle on friday we went and brought a few pink things today :D it was exciting lol

We had our 19 week scan yesterday and asked to find out the sex, he said he was 75% sure it was a girl but 75% was not good, he did go up to 80% when he had a second look, he couldn't find a penis but found the 3 lines (vagina and labia) that indicate a girl. Then went to the clinic today and OB said the heart beat is smack in the middle so it could be either, apparently higher range heart beat indicates a boy and lower indicates a girl so now we're not sure, I know it can't be 100% accurate but were hoping for a sort of definate either way, not that it matters really, we haven't told any of our family we pretended we didn't find out so they'd have a surprise.

You might be right, I could have got it around the wrong way, the heart beat was 155 bpm, although the consultant was about 20 years past his retirement date and kept me waiting for 2 hours before he saw me so I was seething when I finally got to see him but forgave him when he said I could deliver at Kaleeya instead of having to go to King Edward in Perth since I had a brain hemmorage after the birth of my first.
