Hi Everyone Im new here :) and I have started looking through the threads and there is some amazing support in there! So I am hoping someone will share there wisdom with me!
We have been TTC for nearly 2 years I feel I have done it all......we have done the Temp charting, Clomid and most recently failed attempt of pregnoyl injections.........my question is I have been finding it harder and harder to cope with not falling pregnant I just found out today that this month was another write off and Im in tears again
I would love to know how you cope with it! and also what you have tried after pregnoyl if not personal thanks! :)

I read your post and whilst I cannot offer you any advice on where to next, I just wanted to offer you lots of :hugs::hugs::hugs: today as I know how hard a fall it is on the first day of a new cycle.
You will find BH of great support and lots of women (unfortunately) have been through a lot and have a wealth of knowledge which I am sure they would only be too happy to share with you.
Goodluck and I hope to see you announcing your BFP very soon :hugs:

hi hun it is very hard to deal with. I have had 5 cycles of clomid and 3 cycles of puregon (same sort of thing as pregnoyl. I am currently on a natural cycle this on and i am due for af tomorrow.
I know what you mean about coping. I know what i am like i am a mess but try to hide in from family and friends (even some of the ones on here) how deverstated i actually am when af turns up again and again. I always have a really good cry. Then i guess i mentally pick myself up and focus on the next cycle. I am finding that if i don't then i end up a mess.
I am lucky too as there are some really nice people on bubhub too that can relate to what you are going through.
Anyway hun if you need to talk pm me. Lots and lots of :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Many :hugs:. It is sooooo hard.
I was ttc'ing for 4 yrs before I finally fell pregnant with my DD ... was absolute hell - and I didnt have bubhub then either.
Bubhub is an amazing source of support ... the girls are all so nice, have so much support and love going around :D
Did you actually ovulate with the pregnyl?
Pregnyl is just the trigger to make you o when you have mature eggs ready - did you take clomid or anything else on that cycle?
Are you seeing an FS? What has he/she suggested for you as your next step? (it varies depending on what they suggest is the problem)
Anyway - good luck :flowerz:

Wow 4 years that is great congratulations!
I am seeing a Gyno at the moment and I am on clomid as well.......I ovulate every month and this month i had an ultrsound which showed 2 perfect egss so they gave me pregnoyl and still nothing! Me an hubby are both perfect in the fertility department and health (thats what they say anyway) and that we just have un explained fertility............I suppose I just had so much hope pinned on this pregnoyl stuff it hit me harder than usual not to be pregnant. I have no idea whats next I'm thinking about taking a break from all of it and having nothing this month has anyone ever done that???:)

unfortunately unexplained infertility is not that uncommon ... just incredibly frustrating :hair:
I did know what my issues were, so never had to face that...it must be so so hard.
On the up side - there doesnt appear to be any reason why you cant fall pregnant, so thats fantastic. I have heard lots of stories here on bubhub of women trying for ages and ages and then suddenly getting a natural BFP......
Keep up your spirits.
Normally the next step for you would be a choice of either
1 - Intra uterine insemination, or
2 - IVF
IVF is much more expensive (as a guide you normally get around 3 IUI cycles for the price of 1 IVF), but IVF has much greater success rates.
Having said that - you need to keep in mind that especially with fertility issues, everyone is different, so whilst IUI might not work for someone else it might work for you first time. IUI is much less invasive and easier on your body.
IUI usually involves you taking either clomid or mild FSH (follicle stimulating hormones) to ensure you ovulate, pregnyl to trigger o if you have issues in that area, then once you have o'd they get a sperm sample, 'wash' it and concentrate it, then inseminate back into you.
You will also sometimes have to take progesterone supplements ....
IVF is much more complicated, invasive and expensive - but has really great success rates. If you decide to go down the IVF route - check out the IVF section here on bubhub. Some amazing women who will give you lots of support and info.
