does any one get really bad cravings for foods at different times of their cycles?

My eating habits change all through out my cycle, from the time that I 'O' I don't feel hungry at all

Before I get AF I get sugar cravings and crave weird food

I also get a metallic taste in my mouth a week or so leading up to my period, it annoys me so much I brush my teeth 2 - 3 times a day ..

Heya.

I get cravings for different things all the time but never gave thought to coincidence regarding my AF & cycle.
My worst cravings have to be for savoury foods, very rarely sweets.
However I put this down to my eating (bad) habits LOL

As for the metallic taste, Ive actually heard of ppl saying that b4 however I don't get it myself. I feel sorry for you! LOL Brushing 2-3 times just for that taste :(

I read somewhere that women get sugar cravings before AF. I've noticed it happening with me sometimes.

hi all4you

i dont get cravings but i get the metallic taste... i had never noticed it before but last cycle it was horrible!!! it had me confused i must have been UTD but no such luck!

In high school i had a BF who wouldnt kiss me while i had AF cause he said i tasted to metallic, i had my tongue pierced and just assumed my hormones must have had a reaction to the metal in my mouth... i never noticed it tho and have never had any other guy mention it...

i couldnt find anything to get rid of the taste and i must have eaten everything in sight that day trying to mask the taste

Seems everyone gets it different:

I don't have any specific food cravings, but am constantly hungry (need to eat every two hours) half-way between O and AF. The worst ever hunger was when I took provera. I have since found out that progesterone causes increased appetite in many women (maybe sometimes it also takes on the 'craving' direction...)

I don't get any cravings for particular foods but day before AF i could eat 24 hours straight and NEVER feel full. Its my strongest symptom of her impending arrival.
