after going in for my 38 week check up with my gp/ob only to find out bub had turned breech in the last week i was rushed in to have a ultra sound to find out if they had room to turn her and where abouts the placenta was.i was given a appointment for the 15th july to see a specialist and he would decide as to whether we should try turning her or go c section.
15th july came and i was told not to eat after 7am as he might get me in for that day as i was 1 day away from 39 weeks.after a log talk with the specialist i was booked in for a c section at 12 30pm that afternoon.at 12.15pm my dp and i where taken down to surgery,where i was given a epi and 15min later our beautiful little girl was born weighing in at 4 kg.
although i didnt really want cs and i certainly didnt want to be awake,i found the whole experience to be amazing.the doctor and all the staff made the experience so much better for me by reasuring how great i was doing and that it was nearly all over with.after just 4 days in hospital we were aloud home as well.
