Ive started temping (only since Monday) but It seems really rocky. Im testing Orally & wondering if I should test vaginally as some of you mentioned it fluctuates less but my question is HOW far do you have to put the thermomotor in?

I found vaginal much better in terms of accuracy and its not affected by things like alcohol....and not very far...it doesn't need to touch your cervix or anything..just try it and it will be fine

I would personally discourage vagina temping as this is not one of the recommended testing point in your body. You should note that some areas of the body are warmer than others with vaginal and anus toping the list. Areas that habor micro-organism tend to be slightly higher, up to 1-1.2 degrees and can make you get inaccurate results.

In case of vaginal infections like yeast, the temp may go up locally and not necessarily the whole body, hence making it inaccurate choice.

I would recommend using your armpit or under the tongue and do not change the site all month long since different areas have different temperatures
