Im making bread in my bread maker and I've been buying the bread mixes. I want to try making bread from scratch so I just wanted to know what type of flour do you use and what brand?
I went to my local IGA and they had a huge bag of homebrand bread flour, I was unsure so I thought I would check my local woolies, and they didnt have any bread flour.
So I was really unsure if you can use SR flour.

Bread flour is better, it's stronger. I wouldn't use SR flour to make bread

Bread flour, also called 'strong' flour is essential.

Plain flour makes terrible bread and SR is even worse (best saved for scones)
