My doctor rang this afternoon with the rest of my blood test results. Everything was positive except I didn't ovulate last month. I'm on CD67 so I don't know whats going on until AF shows up. I thought I knew when I was ovualting but obviously not. My doctor said I should go back after next cycle and if I don't ovulate she'll put me on Clomid:confused:. I guess if I'm not ovulating then thats why we aren't falling pregnant:confused:. At least now we know I guess.
How long does it take for Clomid to work? Any advice on it would be great:thumbsup:.

ah clomid. i had really long cycles like you as well. mine would be any where from 54 days to 79, never ovulating at all. each cycle with clomid got shorter and shorter. they will probably start you off on the 1 tablet (50mg) and then give you another bt to see if you have ovulated. if not, then they keep upping the dose until you are at a level where you do. the highest you can go is 250mg, which is 5 tablets per day.
i myself got the the 150mg and ovulated, but then didn't the month after so we are now off to ivf. i truly wish you the best of luck and hope it works well for you

So what happens if Clomid doesn't work? What would be our next step?
