 Just wondering if any of you Gold Coast mummies know of any farms around the Mudgeeraba area (or anywhere on the coast) I dont mind that I can take DD to, to feed and see some baby farm animals that doesnt cost an arm and a leg

I've checked out paradise country but they do tours (for a hefty price) and we just want to see/feed animals
TIA

Does the strawberry farm still exist?? its somewhere between brissie and the gold coast .. not far .. kinda smack in the middle I think???

they have animals to touch and feed (I think its $2 a feed bag??) and its free entry .. :)

and for a small fee you can ALSO pick your own strawberries (just try googling strawberry farm brisbane .. they dont have their own site .. but the basics - address and phone number are on there )

hope that helps??

We went to the strawberry farm yesterday and i must say it could do with some great improvements as far as the animals are concerned. They don't grow strawberries there any more so no strawberry picking. They do have good facilities to buy food, but i would say that is the only good thing it has going for it. It is very run down and we spent about 10min there.

It's a shame because they could have something really good if they improved there animal section.

Anyway this is only my opinion.

Yes it was disappointing. There where a few people there (who i don't think will go back) but if they really improved it with lots of little animals and other things to do i think it would be very popular.

Apparently the land where they grew the strawberries has been bought by developers so they only grow the strawberries on their farm in Brisbane.
