So what do you call your baby???

I'm so confused about what to call this baby!!!

DS is bubby, so I feel weird using that, it's been his nickname since I was pregnant with him so it's definitely his.:yes:

Most of the name I just call it 'the baby' but it's not very cute or anything, kind of boring...not that 'bubby' is exceptionally creative but you know. :p

'Child' in a rather ironic tone of voice is what I called my dd from the moment she started kicking.

I still call her that.

When talking to df "the baby', when talking to the kids 'our new baby'.........pretty boring huh?? We have never had nicknames for our bubs when I have been pregnant though, nothing sticks! When we find out teh sex, if it is a girl we will probably start calling her by name as we have one picked, but if it's a boy, he will remain 'the baby' for some time I imagine!

I am using bubba at the moment.... Everyone keeps asking me how is my little peanut doing? It seems everyone uses peanut so i don't want to use that. Plus last time I checked, peanuts dont have arms and legs and kick about! :laughing:

peanut, this is more for DS so he had somthing to recognise the baby. and bub looked like a peanut on the first scan, so it stuck :laughing:

when im talking to my baby i call it little baby or little dude (dont even know if its a boy yet lol). when im talking to my partner its normally the baby or bubs. both my partner and i think its a boy so we refer to him (or her?) as him/he.

:laughing: Peanut...that reminds me of my Mum when I was pregnant with DS, when I first found out he was the jellybean, then raspberry, then grape, then walnut, then apricot, peach, grapefruit...:laughing:any fruit you can think of, he was probably compared to!!!

When talking to my DS, I say "where is mummy's baby?" and he lifts up my top to look lol.

But generally we call bubs but his real name (or at least what we think it will be).
It's going to be a real shock if he is actually a she :laughing:

i call this one my little bubble lol
I dont really remember what i called my DS1 or DD when i was pregnant, nothing that stuck tho.. probably just "the baby" lol
My youngest one i used to call my little poggle, and still called him that after he was born, when he was about 3 years old he started introducing himself as poggle :laughing: poor lil man.. his real name is Ethan, but even now hes 5 and i still call him poggle or pog.. haha people must think im odd when i call him that in public!
