What a cool thread idea :D

Mine was to have a homebirth but that's not happening :crying:

To breastfeed for 30 months or more (sounds like a weird number but I read something about it on an Islamic site so that's my number now)

Full time cloth for both babies

To make the most of this birth and do what I can for the best outcome for everybody...and try not to be too much of a b!tch along the way :o

mine is simple do whatever it takes to make sure bubs has the safest birth possible
and do whatever i can to make sure bubs is very healthy and happy
i dont plan on feeding in a particular way or delivering in a particular way (i have my dreams of course) that way if i have to have a c-section or bottle feed i wont be too disappointed

I want to ENJOY it :D with DD I was so stressed through my pregnancy and for her 1st couple of yrs as I was just so overwhelmed. I did a great job but I was constantly worried and trying so hard that I really didnt enjoy it.
This time I will embrace pregnancy the good & bad and also really try to embrace the baby experience more. Im happy to relax and even if I make a few more mistakes I think it will be nice to just go with the flow a bit more.
Im such a perfectionist but I just want to try and enjoy it as i now see how prescious pregnancy & babies are :)

I think I just want to relax and enjoy having a baby a bit more. I was a worry wart with number one, and with number two I was so overworked as I had a toddler and a baby at the same time. I know it will be tiring, but a friend of mine seems to be enjoying it the most third time around, and that's what I hope for.

As for the breastfeeding, I fed my first one for 17 months, and my second for 11 months. Sometimes you really have to go by your baby's cues. Baby number two was literally grabbing food off my plate at the age of four months, and waking to be fed all the time at night. I started him on solids at that time. He tried to self wean early as he loves his solid food, but I battled him until he was 11 months old before stopping. I personally think 12 months is a good amount of time to breastfeed, baby permitting :).

not a single women in my family has been able to breastfeed for long i think 5 months was the longest, the baby never puts on weight we just seem to have a problem with our milk, in saying that though i will still give it my best cause everyone is different but i know too many people who feel like failures when they have to ff and i just dont want to add that pressure on myself iykwim
