View Full Version : Delivery after C-section
Just wondering if anyone has had or heard of anyone having a natural birth after a c-section. I have had a natural birth and a c-section and I would much prefer to have another natural birth this time.......i just hope I can after already having one c-section.

Check out this section of the hub. It's called a VBAC (vaginal birth after caeserian) and plenty of mumma's have done it!! I have a friend whose 2nd child was a VBAC, breech and all!! Came out feet first!!!!

Ali3099 hi yes i had a c/sect with my 1st then went and had a natural birth with my 2nd and 3rd children i am now pregnant with my 4th and will probably have it natural again (although am thinking of having a c/sect ) the recovery time is so much easier when you have bubs naturally. As long as everything is well with you and bubs and the drs keep an eye on your scar during labour there is no reason not to have another natural birth good luck with it all.

It can definately be done! Im having a VBAC in October :fingerscrossed: .
I had a VBAC for my second bub. I was quite worried about it before the day, but shouldn't have been. It went smoothly, and I'm so glad we made this decision. It is better for recovery and we went home the next day., which was great.
Good luck with your VBAC next time! I am hoping for a VBAC with this bub due in December!;)

I had a VBAC!! Certainly can be done:thumbsup: Good Luck :)
Me too! I have had a vbac and am trying again soon!
I'd advise finding out all you can though, even though you've already had a natural birth, they will manage the whole thing differently in hospy and you will need to steer clear of interventions (unless essential) if you want to have a good shot at it.
Good luck!
