So what do you think? Does having an AP predispose you to having bub in posterior position for labour?
Have you had an AP with normal presentation? Or is it completely unrelated??

I had an anterior placenta with my last bub and a ROP presentation...The placenta was high, and slightly to the left though so there was plenty of room for bub to engage ROP beneath it.

There aren't any studies on this but anecdotally there does seem to be a relationship.
My second bub had an AP and he was posterior right through pregnancy and labour.
Babies just seem to like to face their placenta rather that put their back to it :o
But posterior babies don't have to necessarily be a big drama, and not all babes with an AP will be posterior either ;)
i had an anterior placenta and anterior baby...
but i do know that its VERY common to have posteria babies with an anterior placenta. so i do think it has something to do with it!
But posterior babies don't have to necessarily be a big drama ;)
