My wife and I just had our first... we went out to a restaurant in Southbank (Brisbane) which served great French food and wine. Her parents babysat, and we had a great time.

Hey I know this is guys chat but this is the best thing that happened to me.

I got home and there was a note on the inside of the Garage door with a clue to go to the next room....Each note had something he loved about me ...Then finally 6 notes later I was lent to the bedroom and there were rose petals on the bed (from our garden) in a heart shape and a note to go to the bathroom. The bath was run and scented candles. This was one of the best nights of my life. I hope this helps and believe me it will probably get you through another 20 years lol

Second anniversary is 'Cotton' ... a lovely set of sheets for the bed are always a nice treat :)

(maybe wrap up some candles and cutesie stuff to make it a bit nicer than 'just' bedsheets )

Hi Wayne... can you cook?? You don't have to go out to celebrate, some of my best nights spent with my DH have been at home... He's a wonderful cook, so he spoils me by cooking, then cleaning up, and then making a desert! Maybe you could cook her favourite meal, set the table nicely, get a nice bottle of wine and enjoy yourselves... :)

I got home from work and the house was all clean, table set, candles lit, music playing and roast on the BBQ. It was a really nice night.

We don't have a lot of cash either, but it was a really nice time.

What I wanted to do was find some wine from Mt Tambourine (where we had our honeymoon) from 2007 (when we got married) and buy her a bottle for our anniversary... but I couldn't find any :(

Could you compose a poem?

Write her a book of tickets - 1 baby free night, 1 hour long massage, I hour housework etc that she can use when she feels a bit snowed under/needing TLC

Next year pot some bulbs up early so they're ready to give

Start looking for the wine now for next year

When is your anniversary?
