Smelly wee........

My 10month old DS has really smelly wee!! It's not all the time - just the first nappy I change in the morning. It smells really, really bad - like he has done a poo, but it's just wee!! Is this normal??

Maybe he has an urinary tract infection? Or I know with adults it means that you need to drink water! I would say...go to the doc or health nurse just to be safe...

I dont want to use the dreded teething excuse but i find with jack thats what happens! Oh and as mum of 2 said he may need to drink more water!
But best to go to your doc just to be sure!!:)

I have always found the first nappy is smelly because the urine has been sitting there for a while and is stale. No dought if you left a nappy on for the same amout of time during the day it would smell the same.
