Anyone live near Southern River??

Hi everyone:),
My little boy and I need to make new friends as we have just moved into our new house we are lacking some friends. We would love to meet new ppl:hugs:, I'm 34 and my darling is 14months!! we would love to meet new mums and bubs as we are soooo bored and lonely on our own out here:gloomy:.
We would love to find a playgroup in our area, if anyone has any suggestions or know of any we would love to hear from you....

:wave: I used to live in SR earlier this year before we moved back to Melb.

have a look at the gosnells council website, there is heaps of activities on their calender. I recomend the tumble tots and BAD Womens group, its a lot of fun and they have a creche there so you can get some time on your own. There is some nice playgroups in the thornlie/forest lakes area too.:thumbsup:

Thank you all for your great responses. We live in bletchley park, near the school.
We have been living back in Perth for the last almost 18months, before that we were in Adelaide for 3.5years due to hubby's work. But we are back and sooo happy to be home again. lol
I would be up for meeting up anytime except for Monday's as we have swimming lessons in the mornings. If there is another meet coming up I would love to come along and meet all you.

I live in Beeliar which is SOR and I think if I drive straight out Armadale Road I will end up at Southern River so we are not that far either.
I'd like to meet other stay at home mum's too plus I have a beautiful 20 month old son who'd like little playmates too :) Hope to meet up one day soon.

I know there is a place in Thornlie, I think it's called Snake and Ladders Chaos?? I haven't been there myself.

mmm I don't think snakes and ladders is worth what they charge TBH. I haven't been there in a while though.

We had a mothers Group, that has started and we meet Tuesdays, one week a public place and the next is someones house, we would loved you to join us, we have babies of ALL ages..

People usually just post a thread in the perth section -at the meets I've been to there has been between 3 & 6 mums so its not too overwhelming... and they are all very welcoming, so feel free just to come along if you would like to, and I'm sure everyone will make you feel comfortable:yes:
