i would give panadol if you were going to do anything, just going from the recommedation of not to use aspirin with it.
I would probably only give it though if really necessary, i would try letting bubs chew on a cool facewasher first jmo, i just hate using things unless i have too :)
Hope shes better soon

Thanks Punkbaby, yeah we have done the facewasher, frozen dummies, teethers nearly everything but she doesn't want them (I hate medicating for everything), oh ok I didn't know you couldn't use bonjela with asprin, looked everywhere on the packaging and tube but couldn't find anything........we might just get some panadol and see how we go first.......

I was told by the dentist that bonjella is really bad for baby's teeth. I said we didn't use it even though I had it on hand, said there weren't any problems with teething that frozen grapes or whatever couldn't fix and the 2 that we spoke to both said that because it's put on their gums as the teeth are first growing, it can actually rot their teeth or have their teeth grow through incorrectly and does more damage to baby's teeth than putting a baby to bed with a bottle of milk does which I didn't know about but am glad to have been told now so sharing it with others :goodvibes:

PB - no unfortunately we don't :( Getting one soon though
Thanks MummaBear...will keep that in mind though we can't do grapes she's only 15 weeks old and haven't started her on anything yet.....
though at the moment she is chomping down on her Daddys knuckles which is quite funny to watch a 15 week old putting a 26 yo in pain lol........
Sorta makes sense with all the ingredients that is in Bonjela....

wrap an ice cube in a clean face washer and twist it to hold it in place nice and tight, you hold the end and she can chew away :)

Freezing whatever milk Baby has is always good. I was lucky that my daughter was about 11 months old when she started getting teeth so we didn't really have many issues with it. The mesh feeders are wonderful, I bought one for my best friend and she has now bought 3 more lol. Uses them all the time for her baby for teething, she just freezes her milk and now he's older she freezes fruit too. She's got enough now that she can just get one out at a time and there's another one in the freezer ready to go and she cleans them out and refills them then the first one is frozen again by the time the last one is used.
