spotting while BF

Hi just wandering if anyone else has had weird spotting. I am full time BF.

Its like about 3 or 4 times I have had some blood when I go to the toilet and thats it.

The second last time I had pain like AF but was a lil on one pad and that was it.

Then the last time I had some just when I wiped and then some AF pain Then nothing.

Has anyone had this?

I have had this too, but a bit heavier than you desribed. i kept thinking it was AF starting but then next day nothing. i also had some really bad pains for a few weeks. I think it was cos of the mini pill which i kept forgetting to take...

Sounds pretty normal to me!

I had on and off spotting for over 13 months and even after that they weren't as heavy as they once were. They're still not completely regular and my boy is 2 years old!!!

Pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding can play funny games with our hormones so try not to freak out - it's normal (but if you are worried see a GP for peace of mind).

I had something similar too. DS was born in late Dec, come Feb I had a lil' bit of spotting (very very light, I didn't need to wear anything) and a few 'aches' very much like when AF is coming, but then nothing, she didn't arrive at all :no:. It's now July, I'm still BF (well, expressing full-time but that's another story) and AF still hasn't arrived (haven't had any spotting since either). I always wondered what that spotting was... interested to see what others have experienced/ say...
