I'm really scared.................

Hi all, i'm 6wks 6 days preg and i've had bleeding now for 3 days i seen my gp 2day nd he sent me for an urgent scan only they couldn't get me in ( not happy) so i went to the hospital and they gave me an appointment for 8:30am 2morow morning, i'm scared hey r going to tell me wat i dont want to hear, i did a pregnancy test today and it came up :bfp: within 30seconds is that a good sign? since going to the hospital to make the appointment the bleeding has almost stopped could that be a good sign? sorry i'm just after some opinions im worried sick thanks in advance

I'm sorry things are so up in the air for you right now. I know its easier said than done, but try not to stress, it will only make you feel worse.

I think its a good sign that you still got a strong :bfp: cause it shows there is still high hcg in your system. Bleeding is very common in early pregnancy so just wait and see what tomorrow brings.

Hi amanda82, i am going through the exact same thing right now my bleeding started on thurs, & still hasnt stopped i spent the day in hospital totally scared on fri, i went for a scan & am booked in again in 4 wks it seems so far away though, best of luck to you xx

Are you resting ? If I were you I'd lie down as much as possible until the bleeding stops. I only had this problem with C (who turned out fine). It happened twice - 9 wks and 17 wks - and the onlty thing that seemed to help stop it was rest.

thank you all for yor reply's and kind words i really appreciate it. I am resting as much as i can df has been great doing housework and looking after the kids for me. I'll let u all know how my scan goes

Just wanted to give you some :hugs::hugs: and to let you know I had that in my early preg too about the same time. It was like a lighter period. Sometimes its just your body getting used to the preg and nothing to worry about. I know its really hard but try not to stress out yet it may be nothing make sure you keep ur feet up to be safe for a couple of days. :hugs::hugs:

Hey Amanda, hopefully you have had your scan by now and all is fine:fingerscrossed: There are lots of reasons for early bleeding and as my obgyn said- in the vast majority of cases pregnancy progresses and all is fine. I bled from 8-10 weeks with bub no 3. I had a subchorionic heamatoma which is harmless and resolved itself.

Hi all well i had my scan this morning and there was no gestational sac :crying: ive been back to my doc and he took a blood test to be 100% sure i will know the results 2morow....arggggg all this waiting is driving me crazy!!!!! thank u all for ur reply's i'll let u know the results of the blood test but it doesnt look good
