My DS has his first cold!!

Help... I feel so useless and don't know what to do for him... Any suggestions?


I'm going to go down to the chemist and get him :fingerscrossed: (hopefully) some medicine to clean up his nose.. Can they give medicine this young? He is 7 months old!

Babies can be so misrable with colds. this is what I do to help them out.
Fess saline drops to help clear out the nose
A bit of vicks on a hankie out of reach on their cot.
Eucalyptus in a vaperiser
If things are still bad dimatap or demazin which can be used from 6 weeks

Hi Mel, I just wanted to say I hope Jacob feels better soon. I have had a bad flu for a few days & its so horrible. Maybe just go to your local chemist & ask the pharmacist on duty & if he's anything like mine lots & lots of tlc & cuddling works a treat too.

Amelia has her 1st cold too:thumbsdown: I'm sick as well so there are two miserable girls in the house. I've just been going with the panandol and the chemist reccommended a thing that is basically a big eye dropper to clear her nose out with.

I hope Jacob is feeling better soon:)

Thanks everyone :). I went to the Chemist and she gave me some Dimatapp, I gave that to time and he had a decent sleep! I hope you get better Tara and that Millie gets better too :thumbsdown:.

I wish it would go away, and he would be better!
