Hi Ladies
I have only joined this forum today and so far it looks wonderful. Looking forward to getting to know you all :).
Hoping I am not too cheeky asking for advice already but I am not sure what to make of this. Just to give you a little background. We conceived our DD after our 2nd month of TTC (and once I realised you are meant to have sex at a specific time :o) so when the decision came to try for No. 2, I thought I was already in the know.
1 M/C and 3 chemical pregnancies later and I have been told by my FS that he doesn't think I ovulate every cycle. I was already mid cycle at my first appointment so he sent me for a BT on CD21 which confirmed I did O that cycle but AF arrived on time as usual. Last month (two months after my first apointment) I had my third chemical pregnancy so I rang to let him know and he decided to start a montioring cycle with internal scans.
On Thursday last week I had my first scan and during the scan showed a 11mm follie growing on the right (CD11). I have had problems with OPK's in the past and he said to come back Monday(today) if my OPK's hadn't got darker though he seemed to think all would be ok and he wouldn't need to see me.
So off I went today and my follie had only grown to 14.5mm which is definately not a good sign. The lining in my uterus hadn't thickened up much either.
My question is I am currently having 28 day cycles with AF arriving on 29 not in full force but a light flow with the heavy flow a day later. Do you think it's possible that I might still ovulate later in this cycle (in the next day or two) or should I just give in and accept this just isn't our month?
My FS has given me a script to start clomid next month but I am still willing to believe and hope there might still be a chance.
Since trying for no. 2 my cycles have been around the 28/29 day mark with only one 26 day and a couple of 31 days so AF is pretty regular.
Thanking you so much :hugs:
Sarah
