Hi i have a 8 month old who is a bit of a handfull (only really at bedtime though) but for some reason i really want another bub..
I have alot of people telling me how silly i am but id like my next one to be close in age aswell so they can play better together.

How long should i wait till i start tryin again?
Whats peoples experience with a 17 month old and newborn?

What makes it even harder is i only just come back to work (long story) i wasn't expecting to come back to my old job and if i left again id feel like im letting my boss down who is really nice and like a friend but in the other hand i think my family life is more important. HELP lol

I don't think anyone else can tell you when the right time is. Only you and your little family can decide that. If YOU feel the time is right then go for it. If YOU feel that you should wait then do that.

Sorry not much help, but it is something that only you can decide. Good luck.

I found a two year age gap hard, but it turned out perfect in the long run. Probably the first 6 months were the hardest. From what I've heard, 17 months is very hard, but you may find that after the inital difficult months, it really pays off as being so close in age they will have a lot in common.

i have 16.5 months between my girls. we always wanted our kids to be close so it was planned and although we are tired it isn't too hard. both sleep through the night and have a sleep at the same time during the day so i get some time to myself.they laugh together and my oldest is starting to see my youngest as a buddy.its really beautiful to watch.
in fact now my youngest is 9 months old we are seriously thinking of another child as i would prefer a smaller gap.
in the end only you know if you are ready.
best wishes:)
