Has anyone used these for morning sickness?
I've had three today already and it says on the pack that pregnant women should only take two tablets per day.

If you are using it for travel sickness you get to take one tablet every hour (after an inital does of 2-3 tablets).

Surely more than two tablets a day of pure ginger is ok for pregnant woman?

Ugh... back to brewing ginger in the tea pot.

I think those tablets have other ingredients though dont they ????

I think its the other ingredients which are the bad things !

Eating ginger itself is your best bet or getting your hands on basic ginger tablets ... Although they were evil IMO gosh the stories i could tell about them LOL !

Otherwise Dry Ginger Ale is always good & you also have the travel sickness bands that help with the pressure points which a lot swear by but again didnt help me !

My GP actually put me onto these and said they were fine in pregnancy. I have only ever taken 2 a day (thats all I have really needed), so I'm not sure about any extra.

Maybe just ring the local Pharmacist or your GP??:)

Have checked my herbal books and found that excessive amounts of ginger can thin the blood meaning that miscarriage and other complications can be a risk. I would check with a natropath, personally.

I took ginger tea and masala tea when pg to calm the ms. Peppermint tea also helps.

Good luck, hon, hope this helps.

There is actually a specific morning sickness formula by Blackmores. It may well be worth a try and seeing as it is specifically made for pregnancy, you know it will be safe to take in the recommended dosage.

Worth a try
